After returning from our last trip, we are happy to report that the Well is Finished! Thanks to all of your help raising funds and support for the cause we were able to build a well for a village. These kids specifically had to walk miles in order to buy water at the nearest civilization, where they would then carry the water jugs back to the village and fill in ground storage tanks. There was no access to running water or natural water in the area. Now thanks to you the children got to play in the water for the first time in their lives. The elders got to drink water from the ground for the first time. Such blessings for everyone, we are so thankful for all of your donations as even small amounts add up to us being able to do these things.
Each kid has their own story and life. It hasn’t been easy for them. They have to walk miles for water through the desert, up until now without shoes a lot of them. Thanks to your contributions we are able to help them live a better life! We depend on your donations as our own funds never cover enough.
We take great joy in being able to help our Brothers and Sisters here in need. Next we will be trying to fund an additional Well for another village of orphaned Children. As we said before, they have to walk miles for water through the desert. It is quite dangerous and difficult for the kids. There is no electricity in this area specifically so we will need a solar unit, which will cost us $3,000.
